Does my clipboard data leave my Mac?

By default, clipboard contents are not sent to CopyPastePlus servers. History stays local on your Mac and is encrypted at rest in normal operation. If you enable iCloud Sync, synchronization uses your iCloud account.

Is there a subscription?
